Is this the Google News tab?
Yes. type=news returns what Google shows under the News tab for your query, in the country and language you set with gl and hl.
How do I get news from one country?
Set gl to the country code and hl to the language, for example gl=in and hl=en for English news in India.
How many articles do I get?
About 10 per page. Ask for up to 10 pages at once with num_pages; each page costs one credit.
What is the timestamp field?
The publication time as a Unix timestamp in seconds, so you can sort articles and store them without parsing "3 hours ago".
