Google Shopping API

The ScraperData Google Shopping API returns the products Google shows in its Shopping tab for a query as JSON: the product name, the price as text and as a number, the old price on items on sale, the rating, the number of reviews and the store. Add type=shopping to a search request; one page costs one credit.

Questions about the Google Shopping API

Which currency are prices in?

The currency Google shows for the country you set with gl, for example US dollars for gl=us. extracted_price holds the number without the symbol.

Do results include a link to the store?

When Google's page links to the product, link is filled in. Many Shopping cards open inside Google instead; product_id then identifies the product.

How many products do I get?

Usually 40 to 60 products per page, for one credit.
